What Is OSHA 10?

The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course introduces participants to workplace safety and health practices commonly used in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, healthcare, and other general industry settings. Topics include hazard communication, walking and working surfaces, electrical safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency action plans, and injury prevention.

After successfully completing the course, participants receive an official OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Department of Labor (DOL) card. This entry-level training is ideal for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses preparing to enter the civilian workforce or strengthen their workplace safety knowledge.

Those pursuing supervisory, management, or safety leadership positions may also consider OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training.

Veterans Transition Support offers no-cost OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Safety training for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses. This entry-level safety credential is recognized by employers across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, healthcare, and other general industry workplaces.

Courses are taught by OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainers and are offered in person at our San Marcos, California training center.
