Class Time: Thursday SEP 10 2026 — 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Friday SEP 11 2026 — 8:00 am – 11:00 am
Doors Open: 7:15 am
Snacks and Lunch: Coffee, tea, water, snacks, breakfast foods, frozen lunches, and a stocked break room will be available before and during class. A microwave is also available on site.

The Veterans Transition Support FREE OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Course is designed exclusively for:

Service members leave the military with leadership, discipline, operational experience, and the ability to work under pressure — but many civilian employers still require recognized safety credentials before hiring or promotion.
OSHA 10 Construction helps bridge that gap.
This course provides a practical introduction to construction workplace safety, hazard awareness, and employer safety responsibilities. Participants learn how to recognize common construction jobsite hazards, understand basic prevention methods, and build a credential that supports civilian employment in construction and related industries.
Topics Covered
Participants will gain knowledge in:
Introduction to OSHA and worker rights Employer safety responsibilities Hazard recognition on construction jobsites Injury and illness prevention Personal protective equipment Health hazards in construction Stairways and ladders Scaffolds Tools and equipment safety Materials handling basics Safety culture and jobsite accountability
This class also includes the OSHA Construction Focus Four Hazards, which are the major hazard areas most commonly associated with serious injuries and fatalities in construction:
Falls Struck-by hazards Caught-in or between hazards Electrical hazards
Students will learn how to recognize these hazards, understand basic prevention methods, and apply safety awareness on construction jobsites.
Credential Earned
Upon successful completion, students receive the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Card, a federally recognized credential accepted in all 50 states.
The OSHA 10 card does not expire and is valid in all 50 states.
