Are you a Veteran, service member, or qualified dependent enrolled in a VA-approved program? The VA Work-Study Program offers an excellent opportunity to gain work experience, support your community, and earn extra income while pursuing your education.
What is the VA Work-Study Program?
The program allows eligible participants to work part-time in approved positions while receiving VA education benefits. It’s a flexible way to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Who Can Participate?
To qualify, you must:
Be receiving VA education benefits under the GI Bill®, Vocational Rehabilitation, or other approved programs
Be enrolled at least three-quarters time in a VA-approved school or training program
Where Can You Work?
Participants can work in roles that benefit Veterans and the military community, including:
VA offices
VA medical facilities
Educational institutions
Non-profit organizations supporting Veterans (like Veterans Transition Support)
