The Veterans Transition Support No-Cost OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Safety Course is designed exclusively for Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard, and Military Spouses.
Service members leave the military with leadership, discipline, and operational experience — but often without the civilian credentials employers require. OSHA 10 helps bridge that gap.
This course provides a practical introduction to workplace safety standards that employers must follow nationwide. Participants gain knowledge in:
- Hazard recognition
- Injury and illness prevention
- Employer safety responsibilities
- Worker rights under OSHA
Upon completion, students receive the OSHA 10-Hour Safety Card, a federally recognized credential accepted in all 50 states. The OSHA 10 card does not expire and is valid on all 50 states.
Why Take OSHA 10?
Many industries require OSHA 10 before hiring or promotion. This credential strengthens your resume and demonstrates immediate job-readiness in:
- Manufacturing
- Warehousing & logistics
- Construction support roles
- Utilities
- Municipal & government positions
- Safety and compliance roles
OSHA 10 can serve as the first step toward a career in workplace safety — an industry where:
- Safety Specialist roles start at approximately $65,000 per year
- Safety Manager roles start at $100,000+ per year
No college degree is required for many of these positions. Advancement is based on leadership, compliance knowledge, and experience — qualities veterans already possess.
Since 2014, more than 7,000 veterans have earned their OSHA 10 card through Veterans Transition Support.
This course is more than a class — it is a credential that signals professionalism, accountability, and readiness for civilian employment.
